We’re Provide Solution To Foundry & Steel Plant

BENTONITE POWDER (KUTCH GUJRAT)

Bentonite is a natural product. It is ground in mills after treatment/blending to very fine powder. Bentonite is basically composed of the mineral montomorillonite which occurs in extremely fine particles. Bentonite also contains beidelite (montomorillonite family) as principal mineral. Bentonite is mixed with sand to impart plasticity and strength to it in the presence of moisture. The fine particle size and high moisture absorption, that is, high swelling property of bentonite give bonding strength or adhesion to the mass of sand grains. This standard keeps in view the quality of bentonite available in the country and known to be commercially exploited.

WHITE & YELLOW DEXTRIN (RAJARAM RAJNANDGAO)

White dextrins are used for good core binding. Yellow dextrins are used as a core-binder owing to their best bonding properties required in the moulds at various temperature conditions. They fulfill a very important property required from the stand point of foundaries is the highest solubility in cold water. Due to their high solubility, they migrate with the moisture to the outer surface of the mould and build up a smooth, hard exterior surface, that resists metal penetration and results in smoother, cleaner and better castings. One of the prime functions of Dextrines in moulding sand is to contribute to surface hardness is desired to improve the mould surface and provide better casting finish. The dextrin addition also reduces the hot shortness or friability of mould edges as well as improving the bond and surface characteristic of mould facings. Straight dextrin addition is most effective for getting hardest air set and highest dry strength. A most important characteristic of sands with dextrine content is their ability to retain moisture that are not to be poured immediately. Their addition greately increases dry shear in a green sand mould where air setting take effect, and also dry tensile strength.

COAL DUST POWDER

Coal dust is a fine powdered form of which is created by the crushing, grinding, or pulverizing of coal. Because of the brittle nature of coal, coal dust can be created during mining, transportation, or by mechanically handling coal. It is a form of fugitive dust.

FIRE CLAY

Fire Clay is mineral aggregate composed of hydras silicate of aluminium (AL2O3. 2SIO2. 2H2O) with or without free silica. Fire Clay Powder is resistant to hightemperatures having fusion points higher than 1600oC and is reliablefor living furnaces.

FIRE BRICKS

A fire brick, firebrick, or refractory is a block of ceramic material used in lining furnaces, kilns, fireboxes, and fireplaces. A refractory brick is built primarily to withstand high temperature, but will also usually have a low thermal conductivity for greater energy efficiency. Usually dense firebricks are used in applications with extreme mechanical, chemical, or thermal stresses, such as the inside of a wood-fired kiln or a furnace, which is subject to abrasion from wood, fluxing from ash or slag, and high temperatures. In other, less harsh situations, such as in an electric- or natural gas-fired kiln, more porous bricks, commonly known as “kiln bricks”, are a better choice.[1] They are weaker, but they are much lighter and easier to form and insulate far better than dense bricks. In any case, firebricks should not spall, and their strength should hold up well during rapid temperature changes.

RAMMING MASS

Ramming Mass is used as a refractory material for lining of induction furnaces to withstand very high temperatures. b) Dealer manufactures Ramming Mass by mixing Quartz granules of various sizes with minor ratio of boric acid which in turn acts as binding material to bind quartz powder.

GREPHITE POWDER

The primary uses of the graphite are for producing crucibles and other refractory products, lubricants, stove polish, paint, lead” pencils, electrodes, brake linings, batteries, powder metallurgy, fertilizers, glass manufacture, conductive coatings, and for foundry facings.
